here is what i am seeing. it says i have found several blocks in a few seconds along with the pool settings. I’m not sure why my kh/s is so low. normally it’s around 250.

it took me a couple of hours to download the whole blockchain, how long has it been syncing?

The whole expo was a bit of a chaotic mess. I think the organisers did work very hard and I am glad they got such impressive lineup of speakers but the whole thing was arranged appallingly and my day was just a nightmare.

We didn’t get a stall because we felt it was inappropriate. We are not a corporate entity with a revenue model trying to sell a product/service to a customer base. We’re an open source project here to serve a community and protect a blockchain.

I actually have been reading like crazy for a couple of weeks now and it is all sinking in. I am at the point where I feel ready to get cracking :)

While we’re talking about digesting it all, I’m starting to realise, that sharing the interest with other people (outside teh internetz) is probably not a good idéa, is it? :P
I mean, everybody just breaks out in “you can’t get free money”, “this is a pyramid scheme”, “what if you are unknowingly lending processing power to the mafia” and so on… It’s just too much for most people to take in. I had a talk with a friend about this, who happens to be a banker… bad idéa! ;)

I guess I’m not the only one experiencing this kind of thing?

There is a lot of work already in progress on exchanges. People joining now are not such geeks, and just want to jump on board and get and use their coins. That is close for such a technical development, but is still being refined.

I know at Feathercoin members have spent a lot of effort building the Forum, as a source of information and guides, to spread the information and knowledge.

This is still the exciting part of being involved in Alternate Currency at this stage, things are advancing so fast, it is incredible.

googlemaster, you are completely correct, and all the infrastructure is there ready to go, QR codes and all, even for early adopters. Have you ever known that happen before?

Crypto currency is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, hold on tight for the ride …
