There’s been a recent influx of new members, and I’ve already seen one person get scammed by someone with 2 posts.
There’s some great people here who you can trust to do escrow. Zerodrama has done some successful trades recently, and I know others have too. If you do choose someone to do escrow with, MAKE SURE THEY ARE REPUTABLE.
Under each profile picture there’s a “rep” counter. Those who have been around for a while and aren’t going anywhere have it, those who still have yet to prove themselves don’t. If they don’t have rep, and more over lots of posts, they’re new here, and your trusting a complete stranger with your money. Don’t fall for this.
There’s plenty of people here you can trust. Finding them is easy. Ask community leaders if you’re unsure, like ChrisJ, Bushstar, or Ruthie. They know everyone here on a first name basis.
Best of luck on your trade, I’m sure you’ll find someone who can help. :)

Hi. Thanks for the recommendations. Yeah, I always try cover my bases as best as I can. I hope to become a trusted/reputable member in the near future, so I’m very interested in completing successful trades. I’m very weary of scammers and hustlers - if you check over my posts on bitcointalk.org (same username) you will see I often warn others of potential scams and often try to troll blatant hustlers for a laugh haha. I have no interest in scamming anyone, but I know it’s difficult to build up trust in an anonymous world with largely anonymous currencies, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
