@clickinorka You can go for it indeed. Seems expensive though.

Thanks ghost, I think I will. Yes I know it may be expensive, but I’d like to see if it truly does 3x the work of the 580s. The math says it does, but there’s always a variable here or there that can throw things to hell. I’ll post this here and if you find an error with the math, please let me know. I do intend to run for a month solo to see what happens, then add its ungodly power to a pool.

I would ideally, like to run 19 of these things off the B250. https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX68521 To which there is also a complication, there’s been two videos I found stating that the board basically goes mental if any more than 13 cards are installed. Perhaps that’s been fixed, I don’t know. Waiting on a reply from support for that one. Thanks for being patient with me, I probably don’t know 1% of the stuff I should. Learnin…

:( Oh and 5 years ago, nobody assumed that a exchange wasnt a good place to keep your coins.

Ahem! Not entirely accurate, if you got into bitcoin and crypto currencies and you understand private and public keys you wouldn’t have stored your coins at an exchange…regardless of time period.

I learnt the hard way with MT.Gox and I didn’t even store coins there, I used to trade…lost them anyways.

The only people who store their coins on and exchange are either the non technical users or the lazy ones…I chat with some users on the forums who have large stacks of many different coins stored on exchanges…when I suggest for them to move their holdings unless they are trading every day they usually respond with something like “yeah I probably should, just cant be bothered right now”

Hi and welcome to the forums.

I’m not 100% sure what you mean.

First we need to define what “this” means, in “How does this work”

I assume you mean Feathercoin since you’ve posted on the Official Feathercoin forums.

Feathercoin is similar to Bitcoin. Like Bitcoin, Feathercoin is a crypto currency. One of the big differences between Feathercoin and Bitcoin is that with Bitcoin you need special hardware to mine it and with Feathercoin you can do it with everyday hardware.

You should checkout the main www.feathercoin.com website

you can also checkout this Thread with our FAQ’s (kindly put together by @wrapper)

@priceslide said in How do we get FTC on Binance.com?:

Really? Where on earth did you get that number?

From a friend who wanted to get listed.

Either way, any number is too high, we aren’t a pay-to-play type

I fully agree. We will get listed on more and more exchanges ones we get more users. We get more users by providing better wallets and services and more outreach. We are working on all of that :)

I’d love to know why an FTC/Fiat payment gateway would help anything.

If you want to get new, non-crypto people in you need Fiat gateways. Also for adding support for FTC in ATMs and payment processors you need Fiat exchanges. ATMs for example are not a technology problem but not really doable as long as Bitstamp or Kraken (which most ATM operators use as their backbone) don’t have FTC.

So it’s a chicken-egg problem we plan to solve with great wallets/technology, community building and outreach. With the help of any contributors as a community effort! :)

@GrimReaperMiner Sorry for the later response!

      I get now between 900 and 1000 KH/s. I guess that’s okay.
The problem was related to the antivirus and ports. And in the beginning I did not create a worker on the pool homepage.

      Really newbie problems.

      Thanks for your support.
