Welcome to the Feathercoin.com forums, Kagemusha!Fellow Brit here :3
Hi mate,
How you doing on d2.cc? I always had spiky Khash rates.
-
On any pool-site the khash is only an approximate, use your client for your true hashrates.
I’ve been on d2’s pool since day one, been a few issues and niggles along the way but d2 has worked like a trooper to keep everyone updated and keep his pool as stable as the network can provide.
Pay-outs have been fine and I’ve not really encountered any flaws.
Note: If you’re getting spiky khash rates in your client, that won’t be the pool but your hardware and or client config. Possibly find a more stable configuration and overclock/clocks. ^^
My hashrates from my 6950 alone over the past hour and 40-odd minutes to d2.cc.

I’ve been mining with GUIminer Scrypt. I’ve used the built in presets for a 5870 then dialed down to get my khash rate. I’m still trying to work out a non GUI miner that’s shows the kind of stats yours does.

Could I recommend a combination of cgminer and Cgwatcher?
It’ll help you retain a GUI to use and manage through, plus provide a lot more stats in a much nicer GUI. ^^ -
Cheers Shadow. I’ll try as you suggest, last minute tweekery this weekend before my new GPU arrives next week.
Hopefully a x4 khash rate will be achieved!
I’ve got cgminer up and running with a .bat file but now I can’t get Cgwather to read the stats. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get cgminer to use a .conf file with the api allow for Cgwatcher - any help Shadow?

Nevermind - sorted now.

Sorry I didn’t manage to reply to this sooner, I was actually asleep at the time of both of your posts >w -
No worries, I read a bit and fumbled my way through it.
To answer your question - both yes and no.
Yes, in the fact that I can now monitor my hash rate, accepts/rejects and HW failures much easier. And no, because for some reason now I’m using cgminer & cgwatcher I can’t match the hashrate/share rate that I could with GUIminer.
Weirdly though going back to GUIminer I’m still getting shockingly low hashrate.
Reading some posts on www.FCpool.com it seems the Khash rate seen on the stats pages of the pool is your effective Khash rate. With GUIminer this was consistently at around 120Khash now with CGminer I’m lucky if I get 40khash, more often around 16Khash. GUIminer is now also around the same, then drops to zero if I check the pool stats but still shows as ~120Khash on my rig in GUIminer.
I’ve probably messed with a setting I shouldn’t!

Just wanted to swing by and say hi!
