They replied indicating they are looking at adding other alternate cryptocurrencies and will post about the additions via their announcements. The request is being sent to management. So at least they will hear the request. I’d say it is worth the effort to contact them about this. And yes make your request at least a paragraph or two.

Signed up and commented. The basic gist was: you add FTC, you have another currency that can be traded. Duh. For them it means more transaction revenue. This is good for them and good for FTC. Money has to move!
… and on a side note, it will also add value to the very much undervalued FTC. This is good for us. 8)
