The beauty of coins like Feather is our ability to adapt quickly.

I saw this in the litecoin forums
“Hi folks. Sorry to dampen enthusiasm. I read the zerocoin paper and heard from core Bitcoin devs on the topic. Their opinion is that it is incredibly inefficient in block storage use. If Bitcoin adopts it or something like it then we may import it as part of a standard code rebase in the future. Litecoin’s own development in the next few months focuses on stability, security, user education, vendor integration and enhanced smart fees to allow lower fees with strong anti-spam protections. All of these goals are to improve Litecoin’s usefulness as a medium of exchange in commerce, which in the long-run is the only way to enhance its inherent value.”
Thank you for that link. It was very informative. i enjoyed the intellectual debate they had on its viability from months ago refreshing and educational. I generally avoid bitcointalk forums but I only saw a mild squabble over who has interest in “privacy” everything else was really explaining merits, expounding on possibilities, deployment viability, and what effect it would have on bitcoin overall.
Sounds like reasoned answer/response to me. Their resources are basically being spent to do what feathercoin is trying to do. Though because of the hash rates litecoin and bitcoin can’t quite be as nimble on changes to the code. Though if someone were to create a working example then that might turn their heads. Of course someone on their end could be trying to create a scenario for it. We just don’t know yet. Thanks for the info.

Zerocoin has zero value, hence its name.

Zerocoin is a great currency destined for greatness.

cryptomaker22 and ronthedon,
Definitely 2 different sides of the issue, we’d love to hear why you feel that way. What do you like or dislike about it?
Following cryptomaker22’s post history, he has a lot of irrelevant counter-points or purposeful dissent in threads for no real reason with no follow up.I don’t have anything to contribute in regards to this particular discussion myself, just reading it, but figured it’s worth pointing out.
it’s a protocol, not a coin.
