\[solved\] I need support from ftc dev please \* mining is hard

When you move files about, you only need to move the wallet.dat, not blk001.dat etc.
It looks to me like the block chain is rejecting your mined blocks, hence why they turn to (not accepted). But if this is the case, I don’t understand why they have 600+ confirms?
Could you perhaps try sending some of the FTC from the old files to an address on the new client? Or an exchange address? Then you can see if they even get put into the block chain?
-
First a series of questions…
1. How many MH/s do you have?
2. What version of the client were you running.
3. had you actually managed to send any coins to an exchange (or anywhere for that matter) from the wallet that had 141000 FTC?
You are finding blocks at a rate of every couple of minutes. For that to happen, You would need hundreds of MH/s (i have 15MH/s and at present get ~3 blopck per day). Infact, I doubt the entire FTC network could manage blocks at the rate you are finding them. I think you have been mining a blockchain that is offline and therefor rejected.
-
Just a quick observation NutNut, the dates on the blocks are from the 15th of May, which means that perhaps he could have been getting them that quickly?
-
I joined FTC before then and IIRC diff was just jumping from 40 to 80. Could be wrong though.
i’m afraid to say that if they aint on the explorer they aint real. :'(

I think your machine that had the wallet on was not connected to the real network. Therefor every block you found was not real as it was on an orphaned chain. The block explorer show a list of ALL transactions on the blockchain including mined blocks so assuming that is the right address, you have only 5ftc.
-
Yeah I recommend NutNut too! I have a feeling that they are orphans :(
Where did you get that 5 FTC from? Can you send FTC from your old wallet to another one?
I wish you luck buddy!
-
Is is possible that he was mining on a fake chain and the guys on the other side used his hashing power to solve their own real blocks?
Are we looking at a new type of botnets?, innocent miners thinking they get valid ftc?Btw, where did you download client, and have you edited the config file for extra nodes?

Yes it s a friend with a lot of power who mined for me few days -
I have looked at the wallet and they are all orphaned/fake/not real.
I have run the numbers and all of the coins were mined in 16hours when we were stuck at a difficulty of 133 (I think that’s right 14-15 may - can someone confirm that).
That means that in order to mine these coins you would need ~ 4TH/s or over 5000x 7970 cards.
I’m sorry my friend but this wallet is empty other than your 5ftc. None of the transactions are on the blockchain so there’s nothing that can be done.
Was this actually a friend that you know or did you pay someone to do this for you? This seems fishy and my guess is you paid someone and probably paid them a lot. They then had you follow their instructions for a wallet and they created a fake block chain and sent it to you. You then paid for it and poof everything gone. If he is truly a friend and he did it for free then get him to do it again for you, I am sure he wouldn’t mind giving away ~$14,000 to you in a few days time. If you paid someone for this “service” please pass on the contact info for the person to one of the moderators as this would be of interest to us to investigate.

no i dont pay 1 euro the problem come from feathercoin.
It s simple, before it s was confirmed, and work perfect.
I have the files for proof it.
They was a lot of confirmation. It s a friend who work in unlocking phone and over things, and he have more than 100 7970 and other cards.

thanks nutnut.
I m very disapointed cause i m not creazy i have the ftc in the wallet before …
No - It’s not a problem with feathercoin i’m affraid. To mine that many coins in 16 hours you would need 5000 7970s - impossible.
The problem is that whoever mined those coins was likely not connected to the blockchain or had started his own fork that was NOT ON THE NETWORK. You simply weren’t mining the same thing everyone else was. When you updated the wallet it reconnected to the real block chain and realised all of your blocks were orphans.
User error i’m affraid.
Either it was used a corrupt/fake client. Confirmation doesnt matter since you most likely confirmed your own on that blockchain(which was not feathercoins official blockchain).
You cant fool the blockchain in that way. Also like nutty said, at the diff around that time you would need 5000x 7970 to get that amount in that time (or be on a fake blockchain with lower diff)
Im sensing FUD atm

The difficulty was 87 and 104 on the 15th of May. Blocks were coming as expected: about one block every 3 minutes on average.
http://explorer.feathercoin.com/chain/Feathercoin?hi=50650&count=500
Your wallet shows blocks coming every 4 seconds on average. This is wrong obviously. You have never had 141K FTC unless on the testnet.
