SMSWallet Service

Thank-you so much to all those who helped Mark with feedback on his SMS Address. Thanks to you we have now been able develop new features and improvements. I am proud to announce the following:

You may now call us SMSWallet

Yes we have renamed after many of you told us that you didn’t know what the heck ‘SMS Address’ was. We got lots of feedback and SMSWallet came across much better; the main challenge we faced was that we could not use the word ‘money’ and we didn’t want to mislead people. But we are delighted with the new name.

You can see our fancy new address in action here: SMSWallet.net

      Android App now available

It’s now easier than ever to send your Feathercoins with the new Android App.

Another interesting challenge is how to deal with data entry on the phone. @Markus1337 has come to the rescue with his SMSWallet App. Please take it for a spin it is now available at the Google Play Store:

      New quick start guide

Setting up SMSWallet just got easier. We now have a quick start guide on the home page.

Where would we be without @iawgoM? He did a great job. Again responding to your feedback we realised that we needed to make things a little simpler for those of you on the go who don’t always have time to read the manual. Please let us know if it is all clear and makes sense.

We have more things in the pipeline and love to hear your feedback so give it a try and report back here. and don’t forget to tell your friends to sign up and ask them what they think.

There is an FAQ if you get stuck but please do shout if you have any questions that are not already answered here. Mark and I are available on PM.

*International network charges may apply to avoid this make sure you use your correct country’s dialing code eg +44 for UK +1 for US.

            yay! :)

Is there anything that can be done with Android device compatibility? Can’t install it to Galaxy S3…
Gimme five…It may be Google thinking they know best ::)

EDIT: Maybe not as it is in the compatible devices list, I will get Markus to look into it…Tell me does it let you try to install and then fails? Or it just wont let you try?..

Nop, doesn’t even give me an option to install.

Mine installs but doesn’t run - just crashes. S3…

Google Play version of the app has currently some issues, I’m working on fixing them asap. In the meantime you should find the off store apk working fine.

Thankyou Markus…yes it appears Google are causing the issues as the same non zip allied version is working and is available here:

                    http://smsaddress.info/share/SMS_Wallet.apk

or with gambling features enabled here:

Installed this one - no issues :) except that I’m not in UK or US, so…

P.S. There are some visual bugs and issues, no biggies, but for people with design OCD it might cause seizures :D I’ll send you buglist in PM later…

Aware of text and link issues…My main concern was getting it to work and function without spending more £hundreds on this project (now with the $5million coinbase investment I may of been able to fly over and install it for you on your complimentary S4 :D)…And yes international text messages will apply in your case :P…Just choose US or UK charges. :D

You can still use your iPhone and input the text messages yourself, it is just that the App does [s]all[/s]99% of the data entry or you. Chris will explain all about the service when he sees you, he knows more about it than I do. :D

Just read this, do you think we would benefit with an Indian translation?
