I noticed the buy support drop off in stages over last 24 hours, I took some screen grabs. I think the whole thing was an inside job. They are basically monitoring inbound funds and manipulating the prices. Remember that as an exchange they see in to all of our accounts. So they have the top level view.

Though that still doesn’t explain all the sell orders, that is a lot of coins.

I have an idea for rebounding, if anyone is interested. This is ridiculous.

This is actually really interesting for me because I found some addresses for BTCe cold wallets.
Now I get to see what happens:

There I was, thinking BTC-e could be trusted. I was so wrong, there was NO reason at all to delist FTC, TRC maybe, because of the lack of support, but FTC, come on! Taking out my coins as we speak, how can we trust not any other coin might see the same faith?

I have sent the dev a message about this to see if there is anything we can do. I do find this somewhat unfair as we have more volume than other alts but perhaps their minds can be changed if there is enough demand to keep it on there.

If not BTC-e then where will the volume reside for Feathercoin in the future?

The delisting is caused by attention to the LTC. This caused a systemic paralysis.

They’re going to regret doing this.

Good idea Bushstar!
I haven’t been using BTC-e for a few months now, I have transferred all of my trading profile over to coinmkt.com
It feels like it has a better management side, as well as FTC/USD/BTC/LTC. I would suggest moving over there!

Hey guys, Just stopped by to say - this is maybe a good thing because it was holding FTC down anyway. We lost some value, but we will make it back. Keep mining :)

Exchange: I suggest CoinMKT (https://coinmkt.com) cool interface, USA based echange, with responsive support - and introduced FTC last month. You can also buy coins with OKPAY, so the fact that one can do quick transfer and pay with USD / EU may raise the value later on. I have noticed people buying FTC at higher value there, and traded a small amount yesterday.

This is only a suggestion, I do no work for CoinMKT or anything like that. Crypto-Trade is also good. Others may have ideas as well.

Just signed up to CoinMKT, looks snazzy.

I think this whole de-listing saga is a massive inside job. BTCe just wanted to drive the price down to get cheap coins.

Shame to see this go however I think theirs a lot that goes on behind closed doors on BTC-e than they let on. More exchange sites need to come out and be far better than btc-e… MTGOX use to be fantastic to do trading on. Now after all their BS its down hill. If their was a true exchange to come out like say cryptcy and have USD and payment gateways to put funds in take funds out then I think a lot of people would move over to cryptsy and let btc-e die off.

If you remember the day when CNC was delisted many, many people in trollbox were saying that original news article on that day included FTC and TRC too but was removed minutes after posting.

They were probably planning this for some time now so volume is certainly not caused this but some other things.

It’s a big hit for you guys, as much as BTC-e brings good things with listing some coins, they add a huge damage to it with delisting it. Hopefully you’ll recover from this but it will be hard.

Anyway, welcome to MCXNow, you’ll make me some money from those expensive fees I invested into. :D

Very sorry for everyone who’s seeing their coins decrease so much in value. But as others I do not either believe this anywhere near the end of FTC :)

I’m trying to access coinmkt.com but the browser gets stuck on “loading trade engine”… anyone know how to solve?

It took a while for it to load on mine. Maybe if you are using IE you could turn on compatibility mode and try?

We should all marshal our support around one or two exchanges to keep volume high, even if btc-e will relist FTC I say don’t use them, don’t use them for anything, this is a brown envelope job, someone has paid them to delist the coin.

We should all make a community effort never to use the exchange again.

Something smell wery bad on btc-e. They destroy the price with news. So moving the feathers to coinmkt.com for now. :)

CoinMKT does not have enough decimal places. Chris and I have both asked for this to be changed in the past as it is not suitable right now.

Transfer some BTC to BTC-e, calculate a buy order for FTC … watch price go up.

I contacted coinmkt support and said:
“I am not sure if you are aware, but BTC-e has released a statement saying that they will be discontinuing FTC/BTC on their exchange.
This is a great opportunity for your website to increase its market share by catering to the FTC community.
The largest gripe about your website however is that the exchange only allows 4 decimal places when trading between FTC and BTC, with BTC in the $400 range it does not make sense to have this artificial limit on the exchange, it only hinders your clients ability to exchange effectively between mediums.
Would you please consider adding a few more decimals places to the FTC/BTC? I think it would be beneficial to both of us.”
If anyone else wants to send an email to this effect, I think it would be beneficial to all of us

Price down, trade volume up. Just like somebody is doing this to buy very cheap.
