hello from Missouri, i am new on here and to this whole currency movement. Let me just say i am so glad for this kind of currency as to i am somewhat of a germaphobe and hate handling currency. I do have 1 simple question i see all this different post not necessarly here , but they all have FTC giveaways please for the love of god can someone tell me where to get some currency for free or gifted. It is so discouraging to see things like bitcoin give away free currency when its worth so much but a low cost currency like FTC i can’t get 1 single coin. hello and thank you for the welcome reply, im glad to hear that free coins really was being given, sadly i can’t seem to get any. As for the ideas you have suggested like i said i am new to this coin thing and i just run a old desktop so im not sure about mining. I do see people say all the time they need miners but it seems like you got to have special equiptment or they recomend if using a personal computer for it to be a high end machine with no personal data on it as people can steal your information by mining " once again i’m noob lol " . Also i tried looking into the market place option but it is asking for all my information like address, phone, name, date of birth … i personally dont want to enter all that information i find the secret aspect of this currency alluring and fun. I feel if i register for market place big brother will be all up on our business once this currency reaches to the sky.

hello kris thanks i appreciate the kindness to get started, but i just have a really stupid question where or how do this sent coins appear i am asking since the address i have posted is the one i see in the " feathercoin wallet ". Im just confussed im using wrong address since it still shows " balance 0.00 "
Now when i first downloaded feathercoin wallet it had a address filled in i did NOT have to click on new address so i just need to know that is my address right? :'(

Hi Darkangel,
have you let your wallet get up to date with the public blockchain?
Your coins are floating round the internet and then added to the blockchain by the miners. When your wallet has downloaded the blockchain and is up to date you should see the coins appear in transactions.

it does say " up to date " i know 1st time i ran it took like 2 hours to go through all the status
EDIT ::: so i just noticed it does say i am up to date and has actually been running since i opened it i did log out and back in just to see if the gift Kris sent me is showing still nothing has been like 6 hours. Also i do want to point out im not sure if this matters but it says my wallet is " encrypted " i did this myself as i thought it was just a password like anyother site

I believe some of the 5xxx series cards are still profitable as well. Also, people cannot steal your information if you are mining. They can steal your information if you download a virus / trojan though.
