Thanks for the tip - I’ve added myself to the map.

I was actually hoping _not_ to be the first, as I would like to purchase some FTC locally or off exchange. Any ideas? I’ve been having a tough time finding a place to purchase without going through BTC first.

You’re literally the fourth person to ask this today.

BTC-e.com might be your best bet. They accept a number of payment processors. Crypto-trade.com has USD->FTC pairs.

But since I’m not in Japan I really don’t know.

https://coinmkt.com/#/ do USD trading, let me know if you need someone to put more offers on there, if we know there is demand I can send over some FTC but they are still making improvements to the platform.
