I’m interested in Feathercoin because I can mine it on my laptop and see a little bit of return. Unlike Bitcoin, I don’t need special hardware. I’m interested to see where things go!

It’s a MacBook Air [i]and[/i] I’m mining in a (terminal-only) VM, so it’s terribly slow. I’m enjoying playing around with it, though!
I’ve been curious about the potential of non-BTC cryptocurrencies like Feathercoin. What’s their niche? I don’t think there’s an answer yet, but maybe there is!
