There is a lot of work already in progress on exchanges. People joining now are not such geeks, and just want to jump on board and get and use their coins. That is close for such a technical development, but is still being refined.
I know at Feathercoin members have spent a lot of effort building the Forum, as a source of information and guides, to spread the information and knowledge.
This is still the exciting part of being involved in Alternate Currency at this stage, things are advancing so fast, it is incredible.
