[Solved] Marketplace Advice setting up Services
-
If I want to post services in the marketplace, but they are in different areas, should I start different threads, or should I list all services offered in one really long post?
I am a sole person, not a business. So for example should I offer my tutoring services in one post, and then (wait a few days so I am not flooding the forum) and offer my creative writing services in a separate post, my data analysis services in a separate post etc?
I only have about 4 separate service topics, but I think it will be so long it should be split up in threads. That said, I don’t want to violate any market rules. I’m more interested in bringing the business I already have into the cryptocurrency market while I work on getting cgminer up and running (its being very stubborn).

Good question, I am interested in hearing replies. Services is something I most confident of unexpected success!

Perhaps the question should be in market section? and that why we got no response yet… I know the devs are busy on the new release at the moment, otherwise they would have seen this post.
I looks like you could try to do what “you want to do”, get back to us if you can’t do it.
We’ll add a suitable technical discussion to market, to fix any problems you encounter.

Bump, I’ve changed the description to better describe the problem, and added the [status] message.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if this went in market or technical. Still getting a feel for the forum. I’ll do it by feel, as you suggest, and if its not right, I suppose I can go back and correct it.

If you want to offer separate services as an individual, it is ok to start different threads. I think it is a good idea to leave a few days between threads to avoid the appearance of spamming.
Just to clarify the section in the Code of Conduct about advertising, it was put in place to avoid merchants creating a separate thread for practically every item they may sell in their store, or for every single special offer they decide to run. If each of the services you decide to offer is distinctly different, this would not apply in any case, but thank you for raising the question and my apologies for the delay in answering it.
