Understanding charts
-
Hi guys.
I have mined my first 88 FTC and consider trading them to get to know the game. But first, I should understand what I am looking at, when I look at the charts here: http://www.feathercoin.com/charts/
If this is part of a guide/tutorial that has already been made, I’d appreciate the link :)My thoughts about the charts:
Feathercoin Trading Charts. FTC/BTC 24 hour: This shows how many FTC I have to pay for BTC, right? So lower means more BTC for my FTC, right?
Volume: Is this how much has been traded, or is it how much has been mined?
Orderbook: Is this how many trades have been made? Or how maybe Feathercoins have been traded? Or something else?
Maybe this is obvious once I start trading, but I would like to understand what I am doing before I get started.
Thanks for taking the time :)

yes, last value on right sideVolume: Is this how much has been traded, or is it how much has been mined?
tradedOrderbook: Is this how many trades have been made? Or how maybe Feathercoins have been traded? Or something else?
those are actual peoples oreders (yet unrealized)Maybe this is obvious once I start trading, but I would like to understand what I am doing before I get started.

I’m not sure which one you mean. I’ve sent you a PM :)

Short answers here:
FTC/BTC -> means how much BTC is needed for 1 FTC -> if the price is 0.0005 that means that 1 FTC costs 0.0005 Bitcoins
Volume: Volume is the traded volume on the exchange. -> volume 150 000 -> 150k Feathercoins switched hands.
Orderbook: It shows how many Buyorders vs how many Sellorders are there.
Hope that helps.
So when it is in green, that means there are more Buyorders than Sellorders? And red means the opposite?

I missed the fact that you put replies in the quote.

So, how about that orderbook? http://www.feathercoin.com/charts/
I am thinking, when it is in green, that means there are more Buyorders than Sellorders? And red/brown means that there are more FTC for sale than people are looking to buy. Is this correct?
