Now the market is tapped out! even the XFX and seasonic seems to be gone everywhere!
Guess someone has been reading me and nutnuts advice ;D

Which is kinda stupid cause i need myself one more… and now they are all out.

Gonna do 3 rigs of 3 cards pr 16A circuit breaker.
        So i get a total of 18 280X cards

btw, figured out that one of the cards just didnt want to run at 1100 on core. put it to 1080 and voila 760khash.

            Woho!

Can you help with a config file?

I can only get 460K/hash out of mine. Using this file

set fan to auto, core to 1080, gpu-threads to 2, powetune -20 (if it gets unstable use powertune 0).

let me know if that changes anything

Not making any differnence. Not sure why.

                  I issued
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 but the gpu usage in after burner is only like 80% I even tried 1200 for core clock and it still will not go to 100% gpu usage.

                            I have MSI R9280x gaming 3G
using windows 8 driver version is 3.9.

I cannot go above intensity 13 or it is all errors that is why I cannot get 100% gpu uage as the intentisty is too low.

                                7970 and 280X only use intensity 13.
7950 and older go to 20.

your missing one more setx startup sentence
but i cant remember it from my phone:P maybe someone else can assist.

                                  setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
                                  setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

Seems there no easy prefinished parameters for your cards (some just wont deliver the hashrate that others do with those gpu/mem values).
You need to follow this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg1635964#msg1635964
Or a similar one to tweak the best settings out of your card.

Start with running cgminer without any set thread-concurrency and see what cgminer suggests (in cgminer folder there is a .bin file that has the parameters as name).
Most likely however you’ll end up on 8192 anyways (seems the prefered value for 7970/280X, 7950 however likes 20k values)

Now you need to do this with autofan on so you dont fry your cards. also would recommend setting cutoff temp to 90 degrees or something.
start with your memory speed (suggest you start lower at for example 1200Mhz and work your way up),suggest increments of 25Mhz at the time, let it run for 30 seconds for each change. do this until the driver card crash.
Now restart and set the value 25Mhz below what the crashing point was.
Now you start the same with the core speed (increment of 5Mhz), you should start at around 0.57 ratio of your mem speed (best performance is usually within 0.57-0.6 of the mem clock).
Hashrate should climb a little for each increase, until it will suddenly drop. When this happens go backwards in speed with decrement of 1Mhz. and voila you should see your cards sweetspot.

If the core dont want to run as fast without crashing, you have to bring down the memclock a bit again (so you get within the 0.57-0.6 ratio)

                                    Hope this helps=)
