[Solved] Android Wallet Stopped Syncing
-
Anybody else having issues with this? I’ve re-installed to no avail. Tried syncing through the mobile network in case it was a router issue, but didn’t make a difference.
Also tried installing it on a different device, same thing, won’t sync. So is the issue with the wallet itself?
That would be a shame since it’s the easiest way to introduce new people to the tech. Can’t really recommend it to anybody if it doesn’t even work for myself. It was working great up until a few days ago (when I first noticed the issue).

I noticed the same.
My wallet is 4 days behind now and doesn’t find a node to sync with.
I also noticed before, that is was using one dedicated node before, so I assume this node is down.
I will check the code on Github and try to find out, how the wallet syncs with the blockchain, but it may take time.

Wellenreiter has fixed this issue, were looking at getting it released (by the original author / forker). I’ve asked Bush if we can host Wellenreiters bug fix version till that happens.
-
Good news! Once it’s up and I have access to my funds again I’ll remember to send some coins to Wellenreiter.
-
It’s on playstore now, called ‘Feathercoin Wallet 2’
Important point: data from the pld wallet will not be migrated, so backup your wallet and privatre keys, install the new wallet and restore.
