Hello everyone even though a newbie I intend on being the FeatherWeightChamp as I get acquainted with FTC - FTW! lol why does it feel like I’m throwing gang signs via sMs - FTC-FTW-lol fa life - Jus Mess’in!
I found out and have been studying ‘bitcoin’ for the past three months and man has it been(and is still going) a crazy ride in the learning process of understanding this whole crypto-maddNess! So bitcoin is how I was led to ‘feathercoin’. As I was in the process of starting to learn(last week) how to mine bitcoins(so that I can level my options on what to invest in next being that bitcoins has many vehicles to ride), I realized the difficulty level it has reached due to updated technology.
Then someone had mentioned “Why Not Just Mine FeatherCoins And Exchange Them For bitcoins” - then the light-bulb turned on with more investment ideas starting to pour out. I heard all this talk about Litecoin & how it’s the Silver to Bitcoin-Gold and was impressed on how it maintained it’s composure after the dumping of shares into bitcoin as the auction took place this passing week - http://www.coindesk.com/silk-road-auction-winner-tim-draper-world-embrace-bitcoin/
Anyway I also read somewhere that FeatherCoin somehow pulled off gaining popularity real fast in a major way due to the support(development team / community) behind it. So took a look@ their site along other places and I can see the Work and the Money that was put into this and you can literally feel the love / support 4rm the community. This is a movement I believe in and am going to be apart of! So as you can see, I leaned on over to ‘feathercoin’ oppose to the so-called silver of bitcoins(LTC).
So this is how I ended up here with my new found family of the Crypto-World!

Hi and welcome to the community. Its very interesting reading your post and how many times we have seen this mirrored in other members stories.
Bitcoin is great but the forum is bloated and can feel aggressive and intimidating. I think being involved in a community can enrich everyone if it has the right atmosphere and culture. I believe that’s what we have right here and were always happy to welcome new members! -

Yes, there’s more to crypto than the technical aspects (which are enormous). We might have a way to go, but Feathercoin has always tried to be a community coin, which was also one reason I joined the forum in the first place.
