      so let me introduce myself, i have been involved and have been early introduced into crypto currency and i have built my own miner ect. basically i have been there done that. I’m from the uk and i am about to buy a script asic miner for the first time *shock* . the last rig i had was some 7850’s this was about 7 months ago.

      now you know a little about me :)

        Hi there,

        the ASICs are interesting and I’ve bought a few. Don’t forget that Feathercoin will be changing to NeoScrypt soon, so the scrypt ASICs won’t work then with Feathercoin. I’ll probably use them on a Multipool that can mine in scrypt but pay in FTC.

        The idea is Feathercoin will remain a GPU only coin, probably until a Feathercoin specific ASIC is developed.

          ah thats a good idea, i suppose it will also stop the pump and dump from big asic farms to keep the price stable

                  welcome all, i too started with a few GPUs, now i have more GPUs and ASICs, all mining away and changing for FTC.

                  GPU , i advise mining X11 on wafflepool and converting BTC to FTC on BTC-e.

                  with 3 x 7970 i make about 100 FTC every 40 odd hours.

                      yes hello can somebody please help me out with updating my wallet . i have been out of the game for a while and missed the update. just want to make sure i do it right. thanks.

                        Before doing anything make a backup of your wallet if you haven’t then thing about updating your wallet.

                        Uncle Muddy made a great How tp on upgrading to the latest version of the software if you haven’t already done that in the guide section, but to save you time here is the link to it.
