ftc will always implement the best of any crypto tech, provided it’s tried, tested and true.
This is why we’re still around. ftc grows and adapts and once we’re through this hardfork, the team will start focusing on some new frontiers.

Watch this community grow in orders of magnitude over the next two months. We held on to the scrypt asics driving the community away now its time to fight back. Our core of supporters and developers wont let this coin die, we will keep innovating and influencing the crypto market for years to come. We will be in the top 10 again soon ;)

Here are some few observations to increase FTC’s market value-
1. Most top 25 coins brought some kind of innovations to Bitcoin, LTC- faster and ASIC resistant algorithm, PPC- proof of stake at top of PoW, NMC- decentralized domain service, DarkCoin- DarkSend to encrypt a transaction, DOGEcoin involved a large community, PTS- share in a DAC, QRK- New algorithm and economy of distribution, ReddCoin- social coin and PoSV, Next- pure PoS coin, MasterCoin/CounterParty- smart asset exchange, XPM- prime number mining algorithm etc.
FTC is bringing NeoScrypt that will be ASIC resistant and GPU mine-able. Butif FTC can bring another new innovation to the Crypto-currency, it can be a big hit provided that it has a good community back-up and earlier to the market advantage.**Lizhi’s PoS 2.0 **proposal is a good idea. But some other good ideas can be brainstormed.
2. More well-defined and market oriented webpage. http://www.cloakcoin.com/, http://viacoin.org/ and http://nxt.org/ are good examples. The host page is the biggest advertisement to investors and new-comers. Also, lots of projects are going for FTC, but new-comers have to search through FTC forum to know about them or, know about state of coin’s development- that’s not convenient. Another tab to FeatherCoin front page “Projects” “Developments” etc. may be inspiring (eg. http://www.vericoin.info/incubator.html). Also, more social activities are required in reddit, twitter, FB to increase new members. Once new comers are joined, they become convert and then they become supporter. FTC is very much alive due to early supporters, but may be loosing new members due to lacking social activities (eg. ReddCoin). Some dedicated members may relive Reddit, Twitter other fronts.
3. New exchanges- BTC-e was used to be a great exchange in earlier days. Now it is mostly LTC/BTC/PPC/NMC based exchange. FTC volumes over there is declining. Also, price difference (20%) between buy and sell orders are ridiculous, they can’t implement another digit! Most of the new coins are traded heavily in MintPal, Bittrex, Poloniex, BTC38 etc (http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/darkcoin/#markets). FTC are not included in most of them. NXT- used to have Google spread-sheet of exchanges, assigned with people to lobby to the exchanges. Now NXT is included in more exchanges than FTC!
4.News letters should be more frequent. Days are years in Crypto-world. Investors and followers need quick information about how their coins are doing. Not all members are supposed to be forum members!
Finally, FTC is one of the earliest coins and has a great, dedicated community and developers, but it lacks some marketing edge and innovation? to its competitors. But if FTC can be sought out these areas, it can be a great coin again among the top 10 and may be get further.

For me I am buying more I sold the remainder of the Litecoins I had recently and turned it into Feathercoins.
