            I think that looks right to me but remember we are still using scrypt until block 432,000.

            What does the feathercoin.conf look like for solo mining now?

            _server=1 _

            _rpcuser=*my_user_name* _

            rpcpassword=*my_password*

            _rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 _

            rpcport=9337

            port=9336

            Is that correct? Cheers!

            Did the ports change for feathercoin when it went to NeoScrypt?

            If so what would a correct feathercoin.conf look like now?

            Thinking about giving solo a try. ;-)

            Edit: Oh yea what would be some addnode to add to this now?

              The ports for the PRC calls to the feathercoin client haven’t changed, so your old settings should work for solomining.

              I use a similar configuration as shown above, but have the ‘daemon=1’ setting, to force the client to work in the background.

              Normally an addnode is not needed as every new client has some boostrap nodes already configured, but it may take some time, until the first connection to the network is made and the download of block start.

              The block download may take quite some time, and from time to time there is no progress shown, but works fine.

              If it really takes too long and shows no progress, stop and restart the client. this solves the problem.
