I hope, it will be open and not just an advertisement of the PoW alternatives Kevlar prefers.

It’s exactly that. This is Kevlar offering a lesson on what he prefers. I see no downside to listening.

It was a good listen guys well worth spending the time. It was coin agnostic he was not trying to convince any particular coin to make a particular change.
It simply explained what some of the alternatives are and what problems they fix. And what problems have yet to be addressed.

None of us are in a position that we know everything. Gaining additional knowledge is always a good thing.

I think part of the reason kevlar decided to do a video is so he can focus on the facts and getting his ideas out without the conversation veering towards personal feelings and arguments.

He has some good points. But if your worried about making changes to Feathercoin think about it in terms of a new coin.

Kevlar is not kenel as you will hear if you listen to the audio.

                  I listened to whole recording.

I think its worth to listen.

Not only Kenel and Kevlar have nice voices but there was some interesting ideas presented.

It kind of make sence what Kevlar said.

He is just trying yo get his message across and obviously thinks your his opposition.

I think there is some merit in the dpos stuff. I think it will help innovation and services around the coin although I doubt it will help our price stability. (Although it never claimed to do that)

I think Inflation schedule should be changed, I suggest 20 seconds block targets and 5 coins per block. Help us create a look forward to the future.

Every day 115200 FTC reduce to 21600 FTC.

Wow that’s a big change. I thought there was an issue reducing the block time to less than 30 or 40 seconds as it created too many chain forks

I have no problems to discuss with Lizhi and we never get misunderstandings based on language skills. His English is improving every day and he does a lot of work for the coin. :)

I don’t measure people based on language skills, but on the effort they put into the coin and the results they deliver, and in both areas Lizhi is really good.

i wasn’t judging him on his language skills, i was stating he’d be better communicating with me in chinese, as i barely understand his english, i work much of the year in china and understand alot of very poor english speakers, and find Lizhi english very hard to understand, that doesn’t make my impression of his input any less.

i’m not sure why this would be a onetime offer to anyone? is there some sort of inner circle thing in ftc?
