Decision making by Quorum sensing

After watching the video below, it’s just hit me, Bees, Ants and even single cell bacteria are decentralised networks who come about consensus and they use it to mimic cooperation. Blockchain technology could easily provide quorum mechanisms for democracy. You could create a similar system with using Multi-sig technology as a quorum voting.
