I installed the Windows wallet on one of my rigs a couple of weeks ago and have been mining it IPOMiner’s pool but haven’t cashed out yet.

Had a lot of problems today trying to sync my Feathercoin wallet. Decided to install the wallet on another of my windows rigs.

To cut a long story short downloaded it again from https://www.feathercoin.com

It is downloaded as feathercoin-qt.rar - I’ve inflated and it is version 0.9.3.1. There are three files
in the folder 0.9.3.1 - I would have expected to use the feathercoin-qt-exe file but if I launch it it will not run and complains that the dll’s mentioned above are missing. The other two files in the folder make the same complaint if you launch them - those files are feathercoind.exe and feathercoin-cli.exe

Not an expert but seems to be either a compile or packaging fault.

Lizi, who made the windows binaries linked the dll you mentioned dynamically. This means they are not part of the executable itself, but are expected to be available on the system.

Fastest was for you should be to download and install the missing dll:

        https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/libssp_0_dll.html
        https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/libwinpthread_1_dll.html

Can you specify your windows version?
I will give Lizhi a hint to link the files statically, if possible, but that may take him a while and he’ll need the windows version of the system getting the problem

I’ve no experience with windows 10, and it may be the problem.

The executable probably is compiled for windows 7 or 8

I have the same problem here, running Windows 7 Pro 64bit SP1 and it works only with given dlls.

The best place to post for help is in support, or perhaps development for a compile issue.

Did you manage to get this problem solved?

                    Hi Lizhi -

Do we need to copy Windows “release files” - to the forum? So we can have official release files?
