Hi every one,

Thanks in advance,

I’ve just been reviewing mining software for FTC and saw nothing on fgpa yet. Neoscrypt should be still mineable on a cpu, but result will depend on the global hash rate and it may not be very economic.
Reading about Xeon Phi they say :
"Moving a code to Intel Xeon Phi might involve sitting down and adding a couple lines of directives that takes a few minutes. Moving a code to a GPU is a project.”
–Dan Stanzione, Deputy Director at Texas Advanced Computing Center
So it looks like the mining software would compile for it, however, it might really on threads to get a speed increase. The code is open source so you should be able to try a CPU miner.

If FPGAs exist for FTC (NeoScrypt) they are not public knowledge.
Mining on a CPU is more than likely going to result in you paying more in electric than you mine. A better option is something like a 7XXX series or newer video card to mine on.

I have no Xeon Phi, therefore no performance estimates. It’s expensive. Video cards are likely to offer better performance per dollar and watt.

Ok thanks for your answer, it was just a little question but i dont have xeon phi to test that
