        [Failed] Stealth address Test

Failed to be able to enter a stealth address at a faucet :

        Task :
Inform services, pools, exchanges of stealth address format.
Probably needs validation reassessed in other software applications using addresses.
Test online Wallet for feature compatibility with 0.9.3.2

          [Fail] Stealth Test

I either haven’t been sent any test coins or they have failed to arrive. I’ve re written the post to just ask help with test. I was not able to send any to myself.

If stuck, try the Guide : Post any comments on improvements to the guide :

                Gentlemen,

I’d be glad, if you could do these tests in the testnet, especially when using 0.11.X versions.
It should be no problem to set up some feathercoind and one or two miners in the testnet for testing

Don’t worry @Wellenreiter, you are right, but in this case - Stealth addresses are from 0.9.3.1 - the release version.

As for 0.9.3.2 - it needs testing on the network, to make sure it “only does what is should do” and “all features works on the network”, i.e. version 0.9.3.1 plus graphical enhancements and QR codes back in.

@Lizhi 's bridge work should be tested on testnet for how it acts changed over to v4, then different scenarios for the fork to 0.11 can be done before we release that.

I understand @Lizhi has done a massive amount of work to get to this stage, he has baked a good cake, it just needs a bit of icing.

With a few more refinements to the GUI and help included Feathercoin 0.11 will be even better.

v0.11 should also be tested (not mining) to check it only acts as a v2. It will be straight forward to port forward the improvements to 0.11 @Lizhi

I have said, I would prefer to have 0.9.3.3 as the maintenance release. But if we are going with the bridge idea, and a time table for members to change over, + alerts to pools v4 is coming in 0.11 due in X (< 6) months. I think that is supportable.

I see no reason to rush, in fact, if the release fails because of rushing, I’m not in good enough health to offer support.
