Android wallet missing transactions
-
Hello… having problem to see new transactions/found blocks on Android wallet. Not sure if this is really a problem so maybe someone is able to verify it. My wallet is in sync and I also tried to reset blockchain and sync again but still the same. When I check through http://explorer.feathercoin.com I see different balance for my address. (Maybe it has something to do with new block version 4.0?)

The Android wallet is not accepting blocks version 4, so that may be the case.
Also can you provide a list of peers shown in your Android wallet? In the mean time I recommend to transfer the coins from the Android wallet to a MAC/Linux/Windows based Wallet, just to be safe.

Update: The main node used by the Android wallets to sync stopped syncing.
We are working on the problem

@Wellenreiter in ‘Peer Monitor’ section I see ‘li341-100.members.linode.com’ couple times… with /Satoshi:0.8.7/… the blocks there are rising so it seems to be in sync… ping is around 300ms… protocol: 60007

That node is out of sync. I shut it down to avoid a loss of coins for the Android wallets.
As a result the Android Wallets are not syncing anymore.
The node’s operating system needs an update prior to the update of the Feathercoin software.
The downtime can be one to two days worst case.
Sorry for the inconvenience :(

The problem should be solved by now.

Is there only 1 server that the android wallet talks to? Is it possible to run multiple servers?

Now you can ;)

@AmDD
You should have access now. There was a little misconfiguration in the access rights for that group. You are right, that there currently is only one server serving the Android wallet connections.
I have created a ‘special’ image of the standard client for that server,so that it can talk to the Android wallets, as these are a bit outdated and are rejected by the 0.9.x Clients normally. We are working on a new release for the Android wallets, so they can talk to the ‘standard’ 0.9.x client and then they will connect to multiple peers again.
BTW: any assistance by a Java/Android programmer is highly appreciated here ;)
