I guess, i'm new... again?

Hey everyone,
I haven’t posted in ages (years) but I periodically watch feathercoin’s activity (i’m in it for the long… long … long haul). And like any good fair weather fan I started reading up on happenings on the board since the price has been climbing to see what kind of activity there has been. I went to respond to one the threads and Lo! I can’t! i guess this was done to stop spammers. I’m not really sure what more to say, I just want to be able to reply to posts in the forums so i’m here posting :)food for thought, it would be neat if there was a nuget package so you could integrate feathercoin to your visual studio projects easily. i think that would really help people develop their own wallet portals and feed the kind of ecommerce in feather coin we would like to see.
“why don’t you write one?” I would want it for a site that I was working on first… alas i have no such site.

KenethIt depends what your questions are.
Mining related questions -> mining section
compiling the client -> technical development
other questions -> Feathercoin discussion. If the moderators think, that your question should be in another section, they will move it, so that it is found by the right people to answer

Thanks for this idea. As you can see a lot of work is needed to make the Windows and MAC builds and when I first read your post, I was thinking of that. However, reading again and I see it is slightly different.
One thing you could do is research if there is a similar package or facility for Bitcoin, we could certainly assist / comment on how that can be converted to Feathercoin. I would also be interested if you could find something similar as a better example of what you mean, I assume you have read the Feathercoin Wallet guide and seen merchants tools etc?

@wrapper Its a bit of a cart before the horse for me even mentioning it. it’s something i wouldnt work on/explore before i had something i wanted to monetize. I did a brief search before i asked as if something like that did exist i would have downloaded it to check it out. as something like that didnt exist i figured it was worth mentioning, but developing something like that is something i would do only if i had a good use for it. (i have a lot of projects, as we all do, and wouldnt want to take on another without some good reason. especially since there are other projects i havent started i really want to start on.)
Now that being said, i actually DO have something i would consider monetizing, its funny to even mention it cause of the history in crypto currency, but i’ll share cause its probably the only thing that would ever motivate me down that path (that i can think of). We are all probably familiar with mtgox and supposedly it was once a magic the gather exchange. Oddly I would consider setting up a site to sell my cards online (different idea, but same subject matter which i find amusing) instead taking the to a shop or using ebay. That is, it might be fun to “sell them online on a site that does feather coin”. that quoted statement represents like 3-9 months of free time work though. I would either build it from the ground up or at least get an open source .net e-commerce framework then write it a plugin or modify it to do the feather coin stuff. but ugh. you have to be committed to the project.
what’s more once you’ve done it you still actually have to sell the cards. which in itself is a ton of work (scan, price list, fulfill etc) and again… other hobbies (data mining, running, video games, beer, travel, etc) . I’ll probably take them to the local store and that will be that.
Still if someone else wants to write the nuget package… :) I’d totally check i tout!
