Since I can’t post in Mining section, asking here.
Long time ago, before FTC adapted neocrypt, I was mining with my two amd 5850 GPUs, achieved around 800-900 khash/s, when I moved out of dorms(free electricity) I stopped.
As I understand when new algorithm was adapted, it got memory intensive and hash rates dropped on GPUs.
Do you guys now by how much it dropped?
I still have these two gpus, but nobody wants to buy them.
Thinking of rebuilding it, but don’t know what gpu performance to expect. Is it even worth burning electricity on these 1GB gpus.

        welcome back.

your hashrate will be much lower with the cards with neoscrypt. Now with the current difficulty it’s hard to say what you’ll make

        If you look here:
        http://cryptomining24.net/gpu-table-with-hashrate/

        a 5080 can get 80-100 KH/s of neoscrypt.

        So you’ll probably get 160- 200 KH/s total

        if you go here

You should see 200 Kh/s will get you around 3.5 FTC after 24 hours of mining.

        I hope this helps.

          Thank you for the link.
          around 80kh/s 2x, 160kh/s total.
So I’m safe to say power is reduced by 5.

I was getting about 350KH/s on a HD5970 recently before replacing all AMD GPUs with NVIDIA ones on that rig for development purposes. Cannot mix them on Linux. My neoscrypt_vliwp.cl kernel does the best on the HD5000 series.
