Feathercoin wallet sync

Hi!
I am experiencing some issues with the synchronization on my feathercoin wallet. I’ve been syncing the last two days but I have only got to 2 years and 27 weeks behind. Does anyone know how I can make it go a lot faster? I have tried adding more nodes but it doesn’t help :/ Reply if you need any more information.

@greffel There were a lot of attacks early on, which lead to some orphan blocks that need to be processed, which can take some time. Even if the days aren’t advancing, are the block numbers? It took me a few days to synch totally as well.

You can go here http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881 and downloaded the .zip
Close your wallet, copy the files into the Data Folder (maybe backup the old ones, just in case…). Start your Wallet and you should only be come days behind. Wallet quickly syncs and you are good… -

I did actually fix it. Thanks anyway! Do you know how I setup a miner to mine FTC? I would like to use nsgminer. I have 1 1070. I just need like the batchcode.

@wrapper It is all fixed now. After downloading a few gigs of some website :) What miner are you recommending for mining FTC? And also what pool? I live in sweden.

Doon’t worry about downloading from “some Internet website” - the point of the synchronization is it still has to check every block is valid …
Check out the mining section for the latest recommendations of the best cards etc.
