I know there were a lots of guides etc. but I can’t get any miner software to work. It closes after I just open it. I already have FTC Wallet installed and synced. Anyone could explain to me how everything works? My graphics card is GTX 1050Ti btw.

        Hi, welcome to the forums.

Which guide did you follow exactly ? Most guides tell you to make a “batch” file if you’re on windows…it’s also known as a “.bat” file.

What you have to do is create a .bat file and then call ccminer or nsgminer from it.

if you’re on nvidia i’ve seen reports of CCminer giving a better hashrate. You then have to either register on a pool or set your local wallet up with an RPC username/password if you want to solomine.

I was following this guide here. I was using different CCminer tho. I’m going try to compile this one from the guide. I was creating .bat with NSGminer (latest I think) and CCminer from another author. I’m interested in mining in one of the first 2 pools from P2Ppool. BTW after trying compiling with different versions with MSBuild, here’s log.

            Ok cool.

So you have an Nvidia card.

            if you go here:
            https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases

you’ll see two miners available for download. You need to check if your card is cuda8 or cuda9.1

then download and run the correct miner. You still need to create a batch file.

OK, it is working I guess. CCminer shows ~400KH/s but pool (site) shows ~100KH/s. Is this cuz of my internet connection: here. BTW, is it better when I mine in bigger pool or rather a smaller one (less miners etc.)? So far, I’ve been accepted 4 times. ;). EDIT: nvm it shows 363KH/s and 1h 23mins to share… Is it good?
EDIT2: Hell yeah I got some FTC xd. Do I need to accept it or something or is it in process of verification or something?

Amm, it shows on side that I have over 0.2 FTC but I did not got my another 0.1FTC yet. Is everything ok? I have over 0.1FTC but I should have over 0.2 FTC immature. EDIT: Oh, It was a little bit delayed… Now I have 0.4FTC Immature. Now I also see when I can spend it!

Yeah, it is very nice. One thing I’m worried about now is not frying up my card lol (it is 52°C/100%stockfan ). Finally I can spend some time for school etc. :)
