Unconfirmed transaction to 4 days
-
First of all I want to apologize for bad english (I’m Brazilian)
I’ve been updating my wallet, and moving all the coins into the new wallet.
But I forgot to pay the fee, and today it’s been 4 days since the transaction is waiting for confirmation.
I’m desperate, needing help. It was 1k FTC’s.
Could someone tell me if this delay is normal?
Wallet always synchronized

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Ok so I see you’re on 0.9.6.2 - you should be upgrading to 0.13. From what I understand you have a new 0.13 wallet and you’re moving coins to this wallet ?
If that’s true. You didn’t need to do this. You can backup your wallet.dat file from 0.9.6.2 and then load it into your 0.13 Feathercoin client.
If you check the wallet address you sent the 1K FTC “FROM” in a block explorer then you should still see your Feathercoins there as the transaction hasn’t been found on the network

Could you please verify what you’re doing exactly ?Do you have 2 computers with a 0.9.6.2 client on and a 0.13 client ?
-
That’s it.
I have 2 computers, one with the new wallet (0.13 client) and another with the old wallet (0.9.6.2).
What can I do now?
-
First things first - Back up both Wallet.dat files on both computers. This will be in your Feathercoin Data dir.
depending on what OS you are using…
Linux:
~/.feathercoin/
MacOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Feathercoin/
Windows:
%APPDATA%\Feathercoin
once you have a backup of both wallet.dat files.
remove the wallet.dat from the computer with 0.13 and replace it with the wallet.dat from the computer with 0.9.6.2
then load your 0.13 client and see if your 1K coins are there.
then report back :-)
be careful when deleting wallet.dat files and always take a backup before doing anything.

I did exactly that, but it did not work.
I copied wallet.dat from the old wallet and put it in the new one, but it appears the same way. :loudly_crying_face:

I clicked on the transaction and on “Abandon transaction”
Apparently it worked. :clapping_hands_medium-light_skin_tone: :clapping_hands_medium-light_skin_tone: :clapping_hands_medium-light_skin_tone: :clapping_hands_medium-light_skin_tone:

Glad it’s solved :-)
