      Hi there. I am a 35 year old male from India. Been an affiliate marketer for 3.5 years. Reading about Crypto-Currencies for a few months now. To be very honest it looks like a great Ponzi scheme but then aren’t Govt. Backed Currencies a Scam too ;D

      We need money to live and P2P Internet Currencies seem like a Gamble worth participating in. My interests are primarily Research and SEO so haven’t started Mining yet. It would be great if senior members could help me getting started as a Feathercoin Member. Have read a few articles about it during the past weeks.

      Would like to start Mining with my desktop and if there are returns may invest in a Mining Rig early next year. Would it be the right thread to provide the specifications of my Desktop and know the info about probable returns?

        Welcome to feathercoin, Miner999.

        I suppose the most important point to know and understand about Crypto-Currencies is that by using them I can send payment to you directly for goods or services rendered, I can’t do that with any other existing form of fiat (government) currencies without using a third party, (like a bank or paypal).
        This is what defines cryptocurrencies, this is what makes them so special.
