Ah. Good to know. Didn’t realise some of the 7950s were 8 pin.

My Sapphire 7970 Dual X OC can run stable at 1015/1250, 1.068 V, drawing about 230W, giving 715 KH/s

[/quote]You really have shitty luck mate, my current rig has been running a few months without powered risers, my rig before that used the same card setup with no powered risers since xmas.
Saying all that, I keep the rig in the shed in case it explodes, if it does I will call it the svennand curse :D

All minus 1 rig, i can hit 10,500khs but it’s usually lower than that because of heating issues, 6" in line fan should be here Monday. :)

Heres my rig setup, both running Headless Xubuntu 12.10 , ATI drivers 12.10
First one is 4x 6970 different brands. CGminer 3.3.1, Engines 925 Mhz, Memclocks 1375 Mhz, TC 14024, Intensity 20
Fans 75%, Temps 65-77c. Cards are stable @ ~500Kh/s each…power consumption? dunno? :)Second is 3x 6970, 1x 6950 shaders unlocked. Cgminer 3.1.1 same Engs, Mems,Fans and TCs except for the 6950 has TC 8128
Temps 65-73c, the 6970s @ ~500Kh/s and the 6950 @ ~496 (The Sapphire dirt ed 6950 in pic is replaced with a XFX 6950 due to shader unlock problem)Desktop computer (no pic) with Win 7 runs one ATI 5970 @ ~700Kh/s Intensity 19 temp 83c

I have one full time miner with a 270x running BAMT-SMOS 480KH/s (Thanks to Calem) @ 65C
When I’m not gaming I have my other rig part-time mining also with a 270x running BAMT-SMOS 480KH/s @ 65C

my brothers and me got into mining currently we got 18 r9 270s and 5 r9 280x and a few other cards on are gameing rigs
here is some pics of are room we built with a ac added and 20 amp breakers. we have another rack like that going up at my house. still waiting on riser cables to hook some cards up. we will be somewhere around 13,000 kh/s with plans of hitting 25,000 with in a few months.[attachment deleted by admin]

Powercolor 6950 2GB - unlocked to 6970 shaders - 74C - 503kh/s. Can post my cgminer config too if that helps.
