Quick Point for AMD Newbies Experiencing Problems

I have been rather pulling my hair out over this one: When running cgminer or GUIMiner I was getting stuck at “connecting…” or in the case of cgminer I was getting “windows has encountered a problem and must close…”

This was because I had updated to the Catalyst control centre 13.4 today and it appears to have some compatibility issues.

I have updated to the 13.6 beta and now its all working perfectly.
