      Hi all,

      Long time miner just decided to mine some FTC the other day. I made a couple trans to an exchange and they went fine.

      Then I made another trans last night using the same address. Well today it still shows 0 confirms. What is the deal with this? I have tripple checked that the address is good. I tried to look it up in the blockchain and couldnt find it. I can find my previous trans but not this one. The coins are gone from my wallet.

      Please help.

      Any help is greatly appreciated.

        Hi LAC_STS, welcome to the feathercoin forums.

        I can only answer you on the information supplied using the the block explorer.
        http://explorer.feathercoin.com

        Well the block explorer confirms two transactions to the address 6zStTZTcDUnrBndnM9UMMyzmXxhjyKaS3D
        which must be the earlier transactions you made, no sign of the third transaction there.
        http://explorer.feathercoin.com/address/6zStTZTcDUnrBndnM9UMMyzmXxhjyKaS3D

        A search of the transaction ID also shows no results

        At this point I would submit a ticket to btc-e here http://hdbtce.kayako.com

        Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

          Thanks Pyxis!

          I know I couldn’t find anything either on the block explorer. But that is the trans id that my FTC client is giving me. Thanks again for the advice to contact BTC-e but would they even be able to do anything if you cant even view the trans in the block chain?

          Still 0 confirms. I ready something on the pool news about a FTC attack the other day. They said there may be multiple forks in the FTC chain now. I hope that is not what has happened. If that was the case I wonder why there are not more people with the same issue?

            $ feathercoind gettransaction ce0155dc4777c1041e7bf3fac8de3aaf2ca56568df450c1c66760b0495564aa6
            error: {“code”:-5,“message”:“Invalid or non-wallet transaction id”}

            That is interesting. Are you using the latest client? If so, re-downloading the block chain should remove that invalid transaction and reset your balance for you. The process is relatively simple but make absolutely sure you backup your wallet first just to be safe :P In the client: File -> Backup wallet. Pick somewhere to save it to, perhaps your desktop. It’s always good to have a few copies of this so you should also consider burning it on a CD and putting it on a pen drive.

            Now you need to make sure the Feathercoin client is closed. Then navigate to your appdata folder. You’re using Windows 8 which I absolutely hate so if any of this doesn’t work for you let me know.

            Windows key + r
            (should pop open run dialog)

            type %appdata% and press enter. now open the Feathercoin folder. Delete everything in here EXCEPT wallet.dat and peers.dat (peers just contains nodes that you can connect to in order to grab the block chain). If you use feathercoin.conf file you can leave this too.

            Open the client and let it re-download the block chain.
            [/quote]

            Did what you said and for about an hour after the chain re downloaded it didnt seem like it was going to work. but this morning when I woke up it had confirmed.

            Thanks so much for the help everyone!
