      Afternoon all,

I have just bought myself a new Macbook, and i want to transfer the wallet client from my Windows mining machine to my Macbook. I understand in Windows the folder which contains everything is in the Appdata folder. How do i go about getting my wallet to work on my Mac?

      Thanks
      Rob

Can can backup the wallet.dat file and import it on the mac but it is easier and simpler just to create a new wallet on the Mac and send the coins to that address.

          Cheers Chris,

I have a copy of wallet.dat from the windows box. But have no idea where to dump it on the Mac.

I’ll go with your suggestion of sending the coins, thats a great idea.

          Cheers :D

Oh on the new version of OS X you have to go to Finder Cmd+Shift+G then paste in “~/Library” without the quotes.

Because as standard it is hidden.
