Life Support (Updated with hash donators)
-
Is there a theoretical minimum hashrate that is required to keep a coin network “alive”?
-
If everyone stopped mining then transactions would stop. To send money you would have to start mining yourself. We have around 400MH on the network which to me is a lot of hash power.
Nah keep them, you sure it has been processed @Bitstamp? Do you have a transaction ID from them, I know in the past when I have transferred large amounts from them they usually process manually (Ie: It was never instant like from the client)?..
That’s BS [s]ask them[/s] demand the TXID… :-\
Not that it is much consolation to you but I have never had any issues with Bitstamp in the past, both withdrawing fiat and transferring BTC, but these are weird times for all cyrpto’s…
Really hope you can resolve this matter!Edit: There is only one transaction for that address (the one I sent)…So they have not transferred it!!

So who’s 217.199.218.100 and what are you up to on this forum (or this thread in particular)? No good or lulz?

Just seen a guy on https://fc.dontmine.me/ that runs with 125,000 Kh/s on that pool. Considering the current rate of the network is 359,073 KHash/s, there is one guy that takes care of a third of the network at this very moment in time… Not sure if I should be thankful or scared about that :)
I think it’s tied to page 10 of this thread, but I’m not sure. Page 10 seems to trigger it, whatever it is coming from that IP. I’m just curious what it is and what it’s purpose is and what post (or otherwise) on that page (or others) is triggering it. I’m surprised no one else has noticed it, which means I should either be worried or not worried at all. lel
