Life Support (Updated with hash donators)

Good spot zerodrama. The network hash rate has gone up by 20 MH over the last hour which is a 5.4% increase in hashing power. It looks like a hash power rally by the community can make a difference. We are now down from 21 days to 20 days to go :)
I’ve resurrected my son’s computer this week with a replacement motherboard which made him happy, I have now set it mining again which has made him mad, mining is what blew up his computer in the first place. I now have a total of 1.5MH running. I’ve been meaning to order a couple of new cards for a while now and will get on it.
I’ll link this thread into the Feathercoin announcement thread over at BitcoinTalk.
I guarantee serraz’s miners won’t be expecting to be treated like gods.
The nerve of some people. If anyone is fundamental it’s the pool operators.
-
455 BTC buy support :).
It probably doesn’t matter but I would like to think all my rantings at the chatbox helped. With the upcoming Litecoin difficulty increase we should be in a decent position.
-
6mhash/s added :D
Also bough a couple of them ftc again in case of resurrection and value increase=)

6MHs pointed to give-me-ftc…Any other lurking miners fancy joining the charge??
That’s really nice of you! Thank you for keeping the network alive.
But please don’t throw in too much hashing power, I don’t want difficulty to be too high once I throw in all my miners.
I can wait 14 or even 20 days. That’s OK for me. And then it’s all in again. Make coins like crazy ;D
We need more altruists like you.
-
Wait you believe in altruism now?
See I don’t. I do FTC because I have goals.
-
Good work Svennand.
Radacoin - it’ll take more than our 21MHs to kill the difficulty. i think we need to reach about 1GHs?
Awesome!=)
Hopefully the list will get large, so people can save this coin, people scream textbook scamcoin, but i think that its a good coin to backup, not because it features awesome new stuff and such, but because there are a bunch of people that see past profit and is passionate about its survival=)Nice page, easy layout. Pools that are willing to drop confirmation/fees and so on.
Even tough the hashing power/difficulty has allmost ran the transfer prosess and such to the ground, and the btc-e trading has gone one way down. theres still 735Mhash/s on the network coming from devoted miners=)!

Helping with my 300KH/s @ give-me-ftc.com (LinuxJeKul worker).
Giving life support - great idea, I like it! -
Thank you to everyone that’s stepping up for FTC. I know once we get past their hurdle and Bushstar makes the right adjustments, we’ll be back on track.
We have a community press release being worked on, what is Feathercoin script submitted to the animator and other projects being worked on in the background. Once things settle down, we’ll come back with a vengeance.
Maybe it’s my age, when I hear BTC-e shouting comments such as ‘Scam Coin, Noobs, Dead’ I’m reminded of that same group telling me I was an idiot when I said I was buying a large block of FTC at 60 cents. You guys are resourceful, we’ll figure it out.
Let’s just lay out the truth… they have NO IDEA what this community can and will accomplish. Thanks again everyone.

Helping with my 300KH/s @ FTC Simple Pool - DontMine.Me (LinuxJeKul worker). They have 30 unconfirmed blocks atm. and I thought that confirming blocks faster would help.
Giving life support - great idea, I like it!
[s]Cant see you there fella?[/s] Stats page obviously a bit slow - found you now! Welcome on-board!
i just found 23ftc in my account! :D

Imma try sumpin this weekend. But let’s admit the source of the problem: Low starting difficulty. Opposite extreme of ASIC. Same result.

HelloI am willing to rent my hash power estimated of 3500khash/sec for additional fee of around 75$ worth of FTC or 60$ worth of bitcoin/ltc per day. For someone stuck with zillions of dying coins I don’t think that is too high price - and I can help save the coin.
I can also find additional hashing power from my friends, but lets this be the starting point of negotiation.
I do not hold any FTC at this moment, so mining it for own pleasure would not be wise for me at this moment - as there is electricity to pay and profit to be made.
So if someone is willing to help me :
FTC: 6rG9Jph3U5uE5FAzcFdzreGuZfLYasnvXT
LTC: LfwTpAbCJqdTWKcDLAdrhZMK3v1BLZWiaCI will be mining FTC on fc.ltcoin.net for as long as there will be coin income. If you don’t like the offer, just ignore it (or copy it and offer lower price :p ).
You can add your nick to your donation so I can keep this updated.
Best regards
first off i dont like your proposition, and i do not think that the point of this thread should be hash for rent.
Second how do you estimate that 3500KHash/s is worth 60$??? with 3500khash u get about 7.5ltc pr day. that equals to 25$ given todays rate… and half of that if you direct the power at bitcoin… -
I doubt the community would pay $75 per day for a rig that can only mine $25 a day tops - Any takers?

Cool.
The reality is that million+ coins were mined in first 3 hours of FTC, so why would these 3 hours be worth more than 1 month of mining?
I can easily imagine someone who premined FTC and is stuck with 100k of them, pay such high price for something that is doomed to fail if there is nothing to start to run it.
And it shouldn’t be just me that should ask for a rate, others should too. Its own greed for those who lost money on ftc, and if you want to give a coin a value back, you need hash rate. Otherwise big whales will use the FTC network only to extract even more money from “noobs”. Now they will be buying at bottom, then they will jump in with their gpu farms to start network back, and catch even more naive people, who think that premined coin will only go up.
But yeah, generally mining other coins is more profitable, thats why FTC is dead atm.
