Could someone help DJ Tommy?

Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I tried an experiment with @tommy163 to see if I could get him to earn Feathercoins for his DJ set. See the [url=http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php/topic,3758l]original post[/url].
Now in fact from just a small amount of promotion and using free tools Tommy was able to earn 130 FTC that evening playing his tunes to a happy audience and I want to take this to the next level.
Tommy has told me that he wants to buy a new Playstation 3 game called [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyond:_Two_Souls]Beyond Two Souls[/url]. However he cannot buy it in his home country of Venezuela due to crappy distribution rights. The easiest way for him to get it is for one of us to buy it for him in the UK and send it via DHL but then we have the question how will he pay for it?
Feathercoins of course!

This may involve getting him set up on WordPress and embedding a live stream so he can get better graphics.
I will buy the game and send it to him, at no extra cost. I think this would be a great way to show off what this awesome technology can do and hopefully set an example for more borderless payments like it in the future.

While I appreciate the work you do around here and the FTC tipping for a DJ is a really cool idea, if he really wants that game he can buy crypto with his own money instead of asking for donations/tips. I don’t ming tipping him just for playing a set, but adding in the stipulation that it’s all for a videogame is a huge turn off and in my opinion is not what the community should be about

[/quote]Hey, I appreciate your candor, I hadn’t looked at it this way before, so thank-you.
If I may flesh out a little background. I have been wanting to help Tommy get a website up with a proper tipping system ever since he joined, I just saw his need for a game as an opportunity to set a milestone in getting it achieved. I would see any tips he made as an honest value for value exchange and the FTC that he earned would be done so fairly and he would be free to choose how he would spend it.
I believe that Tommy is unable to buy FTC in his country which is why I suggested he try and earn it. I am sure other people will have other opinions on this so would be keen to hear those. I am still happy to help in any way as the majority see appropriate.

I’m not sure what support there is for FTC in Venezuela but in my opinion it would be a great idea to help promote the coin in this area. We have seen before that its currently a very north american / European based community so a push in south america could be a great thing.
I can imagine Tommy would be telling lots of people if we managed to get his site setup and him able to earn and actually see the reward from this. I would hope there could be a nice little community of people using FTC over there is we help get this started.
