Hello all

Hey all… Im new to the FTC scene and mining…hope to learn alot and be able to help others out… i have a beast of a PC that I just recently built so that should definitely help with mining, I have an 8 core amd fx 9590 5.0ghz CPU, 32gb RAM, Dual Radeon 7970 GPUs, wish that connection speed helped with mining cuz im on a 300mbps fiber line and I own a bunch of linux/freebsd servers on 1gbps to 10gbps connections, they have great hardware in them aswell, I might setup a pool and cpu mine with them. My main colocated is 8x Hex Core @ 2.26ghz CPU, 4 Nodes and 384GB RAM… I would love to see how much kh/s that server can pull as a cpu miner. If anyone knows any good miners for linux please let me know so I can try it out on there

cgminer is still the way to go. they have builds for linux ( even its own version called BAMT. You will need the litecoin version of BAMT ) the architecture of CPUs dont make it great for mining no matter what you have it in. To get a rough idea i attached the link. scroll to the bottom and you will see its not that great.

check out XPM (prime coin) for CPU mining though. Im new to it as well but im trying it out as it might be worth while. The dual 7970s should net you 1300 - 1500 kh/s for feathercoin. not too shabby.
