A bunch of slots is great, but still a little heavy on features for what I would think a mining board should be. They do have some 4 pin molex right on the board which just, uh, seems to defeat the point to me.

      Also, intel architecture only. Thoughts?

EDIT: OH! And their marketing! Talk about being three years behind the curve.

          LOL!
they have actually targeted the mining comunity.
Unless they have done something to the pci-e power amount supported their in for a treat if they advice 6 cards…
I have had cards with 1x molex connection or 1xpci-e 6pin power connection. hasnt stopped the mobo from burning to a crisp when using 6 cards ;D

Some of the features built in is!
OMG: Limit and control your children’s time spent on the internet. ASRock OMG (Online Management Guard) technology allows you to establish an internet curfew or restrict internet access at specified times. Administrators are able to schedule the starting and ending hours of internet access granted to other users.

Dehumidifier: Dampness kills most electronics, so it’s a better idea to keep your personal computer dry. Now users may prevent motherboard damages due to dampness by enabling Dehumidifier. When it is enabled, the computer will power on automatically to dehumidify the system after entering S4/S5 state.

Restart to UEFI: Fast Boot is so fast that it is impossible for users to enter the UEFI setup utility during POST. Therefore, ASRock Restart to UEFI technology allows users to easily enter the UEFI setup utility automatically when turning on the PC next time. It is designed for those who constantly need to enter the UEFI setup utility.

THIS HAS TO BE AN OLD APRILS JOKE?? :P

I just wonder, but do you have any estimate (in fiat, lets say in USD) how much hardware you actually put to death? ;D

              Water under the bridge :-X

i have killed 3 mobos i think. two high end and one medium end
burned 2 pcie-8 pins on psu and one 24 pin on both mobo and psu (ah there was the fourth mobo)
killed 2x 7970 (msi 7970, those things were not built to last)
killed 3x 7950 (sapphire), fans are just to low quality to run at 70-85% 24/7. died after 2-3 months. they started to get unbalanced/spin slower making the card overheat.

i have gotten full refund on all the GPU (at least 3 of em so far (rest is in process), thank god for that one!).
The mobos and psu were not covered by waranty, even if its not a user error. could take it further since its a “defect” in the chipset design that a mobo delivers with 4x 16x and quad gpu support, but dont have
the power needed on the connectors to substain Higher end GPU’s
