Feathercoin mining - all of the cool kids are doing it!

Hi all. I have a coworker who is all gung ho about mining bitcoin and litecoin. He’s invested a small fortune into ASICs and mining gear.
I was looking for a promising new cryptocurrency with which to learn the ropes, and I believe that Feathercoin is the perfect fit for me right now. I should be able to mine some coins at a casual rate without having to sink thousands of dollars into specialized hardware.
Feathercoin seems to have good support and an active community surrounding it. I’m looking forward to learning with you all and seeing where this thing goes.
