Feathercoin Client/wallet will not load

i get message when it tries to start up “error loading blkindex.dat”
I have uninstalled the original client/wallet and installed a new copy, still get same message.
glad i had my auto pay set high, i was thisclose to loosing my first batch of coins

This sees to be sucessful but just for information if you did have coins in one of your addresses in your wallet you could have kept only the wallet.DAT file and deleted the others. If you delete the wallet.DAT file with coins associated with an address in that file you will not be able to get those coins back. So be careful when deleting these files.

The most important thing is, to have a copy of your private keys, when deleting wallet.dat.
you then can import the private keys into any other wallet and recover your coins.to export/import the private keys go to Debug>consolwindow and type exportprivkey
copy/paste the key to a safe location.for import use importprivkey…
there is a help in console mode
