0.8.5.0 is nearing release as I understand it, due to the efforts of Bushy and the rest of the community who has done a fantastic job of putting together a test plan and distributing the execution of it on the Technical Discussion forum. It’s good news because 0.6.4.4 is seriously flaky with regards to blockchain download.

I believe our post count/new user count has shot through the roof in the past few days, probably due to the increased interest in crypto-currencies. The question, “How do I acquire Feathercoins with fiat?” has been asked more often than any other question… real stats on that would be interesting. Someone REALLY needs to write a FAQ and put it in the menu.

Feathercoin TV is a fantastic idea, can’t wait to see that happen.

Perhaps the idea that we may have a panel video broadcast in the pipeline along the lines of this:

            BBC Question Time 04/07/2013 Basildon

A little less serious but inviting a panel to participate to discuss crypto in general, events with economics, alt movements and anything that folk wish to question the panel on.

Looking for ideas, who to invite, what to discuss and the format it might be in.

Would also like members of our community to suggest or recommend books they have read or media they have seen to the rest of the community via the newsletter.
