bought a bunch of feathercoin. cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and i think this one will be one of the survivors. i am mostly intrigued by the use of such currencies for people who travel to different countries in the future.
but now i need to know how to keep the ftc safe.
first question: if i back up into a dat file, then any ftc program will be able to read that file on a different pc?
second: how to make a paper wallet as simple as possible for someone will little technical expertise.when i bought the ftc, i thought the address was like an email address and all i had to do was copy the address and password.
but that’s not the case? will i actually have to have the backup file, or can i enter my wallet address on new ftc program on a different pc? ie, i’m asking if you need more than just the wallet address and password?thanks.

Hello sc99
Welcome to the FTC community. I am a newbie too.
So not much help from me.
What I have done so far, is just add my wallet to a USB flash drive.
I am writing here to move your question up the line, hoping to get some
insight myself. It likely has already been answered many times.

P.S. The number of FTC coins I have is insignificant anyway,.
Of course, I would rather not lose them. Ha
I want at some point to add more to my wallet. But, not if they are not secure. -
