Now Feathercoin is becoming popular, we are starting to get over run by support requests. This could result in manual DDoS.
1. Simplify Wallet install
2. Simplify Download page - Downloads should be more prominent
3. Warn people not to download the beta test version unless they know what they are doing! Don’t confuse the versions
4. Put a separate download link prominently on the Forum.
5. Do not release until very high confidence everything is fine.
6. Find ways to encourage more support staff volunteers…
7. Improve guides section for absolute newbies
8. Forum newbie help effectiveness analysis by testing new users (at meet-ups)
9. More meet-ups and face to face training of initiators /helpers.etc?

[/quote]Yes, yes, yes! I’ve tried to draw attention to this for weeks. It really needs to be addressed. I think there should be a download link in the drop down menu. The download link needs to be moved higher up on the page so you don’t have to scroll down to see it as well and the version # should be displayed with the link.

Maybe make About a drop drown? or just put it in tools?

Chris and Emtimp are heading up a Feathercoin web site update,
I am also thinking of others novel ways we can give anyone the chance to contribute to that project, but maintain a high standard of “product”. Also, conserve all the important and subtle ideas that went into Feathercoin website v2.0.
