So, I have been listening to @MrChrisEllis for some time on The Bitcoin Group and on twitter. I briefly tried mining Feathercoin on the defunct pool “http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com”. Then I bought a bit using BTC-E. Now I actually have an exchange in my country (Canada) where I have easier access to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Not being in the UK, I’m not sure if I have a good pulse on how the community is doing, but I know this is one of the first altcoins I ever heard of, after litecoin.
So, that’s how I heard about Feathercoin, and I’ve decided to buy a few thousand and see how things turn out.

You can get a lot of information about the comunity here in the forum, and many comunity members are in the same situation as you are, being not lin the UK :)

Welcome CMason, as Wellenreiter says you don’t need to be in UK to be into feathercoin, we’re Global so all walks of life are welcome here :) :)
