[b]New Client[/b]
Feathercoin 0.6.4 has been released and is available from the links below.There is a mandatory update at block 33,000. After this block old clients will no longer be compatible. All coins and transaction are safe and will be the same in the new client.
At block 33,000 the difficulty was adjusted by 41.4% to help speed up transactions. After this block the difficulty will now adjusted in multiples of 504 making the difficulty adjust four times faster than Litecoin. The difficulty can change by a maximum of 41.4%.

Shutdown the client
Download the client from the link above and extract over your existing Feathercoin folder
Start the client
Check the version by going to the Help menu and selecting About Feathercoin
If it shows 0.6.4 you are using the new version -
Thanks for the definitve information Bushstar, updated my Windows client just fine. (Windows: v0.6.4.0-g3aaa7ba-beta )
Will download from GitHub now and recompile to test on Ubuntu.Edit: Making it now on my Ubuntu VM xD

i would change the title to 0.6.4.0 to match exactly what the client reports to avoid any possible confusion. Also this upgrade should be spammed on btc-e.com (and avoid getting dragged into any fan boy handbag fight) at the same time.

I think it was because the client didn’t had a block for a long time, now since we are on block 32796 my client is up to date again, how is yours? -
