[Solved] Wallet online -* Does it aide the network having your wallet online?

Does it help the System to keep my Feathercoin wallet open when on line? IE don’t all the network communicate with each other? Will it help new members to download wallet?

While there are a lot of people joining the network it helps to keep some extra wallets online to sync their blockchains. Otherwise, you don’t need to have it on, it will sync when you re start it.
If you go to options you can set the daemon to start (service) at boot up. The daemon will run in the background to keep the blockchain up to date and offers other services to web pages and other applications, without having to start the client.
Sometimes it is better to “dribble in” the blockchain, than wait while it all syncs at once. Especially if you need to send some coins.
The Android application uses the reduced block chain only downloading the Blockchain headers and some appropriate full transactions. There have been discussions about allowing the normal client to have a reduced blockchain database, and that feature will probably be included with time.
